SCUBAPRO Spectra Snorkel – Reviewed by Dom

SCUBAPRO SPECTRA

The SCUBAPRO Spectra would effortlessly rival any scuba diving snorkel on the market. The Spectra comes with all the features divers would consider essential when choosing a snorkel. In passing I often talk to divers who regularly havescubapro-spectra-semi-dry-snorkel-for-2013-Big-5
encountered leaking, faulty and even easy to break snorkels that just aren’t what they are wrapped to be. Well this isn’t the case with the spectra! And here’s why:

• This is my top 5 reasons the Spectra is the snorkel for YOU!
5. Flexible corrugated joint: This section is possibly one of the most important features of a snorkel that a scuba diver could have, this piece allows for hassle free diving as your snorkel will never get in the way of your regulator!
4. Swivel/detachable mask strap connector: This makes for the most comfortable snorkel you will ever wear, no matter what position you put the snorkel in it will always feel as though it is not there! This has to be one of the best features of the SCUBAPRO Spectra!
3. Regulator style mouthpiece: sits comfortably in your mouth, which makes for very easy breathing!
2. Low mounted valve: the valve is positioned at the lowest point possible on the snorkel which makes clearing is a breeze!
1. Semi-dry top: by far the best attribute of this snorkel is its ability to keep out water, so much so I was able to completely submerge the top of the snorkel underwater, just as a wave would in a real situation. And it remained dry.

This and many other features are what make the SCUBAPRO Spectra one of the most competitive snorkels on the market.
