Our PADI Deep Diver course over the last weekend was a whole bunch of fun with Divemaster Trainee’s Josh and Paul getting credits for their PADI Divemaster course along with Rob and Bruce completing a prerequisite for their TecRec 40 courses coming up in a few weeks.
Together we shared some great diving at Broughton and Oakland on Saturday and even better diving on the Mcleay and Oakland on Sunday. Ask them all about their timed skill and Josh about his air consumption at 40m (using 1 bar per breath). The feeling of nitrogen narcosis was felt by all (No Rob I didn’t sabotage you on your kiddies toy) and Paul the self confessed anchor watcher swimming away from it when it was time to return to the boat.
We all love being on Nitrox for the last dive on the Oakland with 15m vis and 20 Deg water temp because at the normal air return time of 20 mins we still had 15mins of no deco time left. Thanks guys it was great fun and I’m looking forward to our next PADI Deep Diver course.
