Emma and Adam are home with big smiles on thier faces after spending 5 days diving off the Spirit of Freedom. Looking at the conditions in the feature image it is easy to understand why! We have been receiving quite a few suggestions for the name of the new dive lodge. These include the Seahorse Stables, the Nudie Shack, the Grouper Inn, The Halifax Lodge, among many more. We are still open for suggestions and the plan is to announce the name and winner of the Double Boat dive at our Christmas Party next weekend. So if you think you have a great idea for a name let us know through our Email or Facebook page!

Southern Cross University (SCU) is currently doing research on cowries in Port Stephens, and they need photos you have taken of cowries in the Bay. SCU are particularly interested in unusual species, species on unusual hosts, and breeding and egg laying behaviour shots.

If you have photos of cowries in Port Stephens, could you please label the photos with your name and the dive site where the photo was taken and either email to us or put the photos on a CD or thumbdrive and leave at the shop for us to pass on. Many thanks for your help!
