The big adventure all started as we boarded the bus to travel down the coast. Jokes were flying the atmosphere was great. We got to Batemans Bay to the dive lodge, Were we unloaded the bus then went downtown a local club for dinner. It was a lovely meal and the company was great. We returned to the lodge to a nice comfy environment . Where we sat around and relaxed.
After a good nights sleep we drove down to Narooma were we set of to the island. The bar crossing was smooth, the sea was flat and we were even lucky enough to sea whales on our way out! On arrival we all jumped in. The water was cool but soo clear! At first on the surface no seals could be seen in the water. As we descended the water became alive with the playful creatures as we start to interact with them the more playful they became.
Then we ventured to Jarvis bay the next day were we did two dives. We were very impressed with a dive called “the docks” – the swim though’s were fantastic! We found some that went for nearly 20 meters :).
Then we drove home. A great time was had by all so hope you can join us on Nigels next road trip. In the meantime have a look at some of the footage I have put together of our dives on our Youtube page here
