Atomic Aquatics ARC Mask Review

What’s the #1 rule of SCUBA diving? You gotta look good!

By Cherie Dodd

At first I was devistated when I found my mask on the road which had been run over repeatedly after I unknowingly dropped it on the way to the water. But then I got so excited because it meant I HAD to get the mask I saw at OZTek and fell in loooove with.

Having a wider face I have been unable to wear the “pretty” masks on the market so I was thrilled to find the Atomic ARC. Of course it was the bright pink colour that caught my eye but then I tried it on and it fit! It has a huge field of vision, beautiful soft feel and matching fins!

I have found it to be a very versatile mask for most face shapes. While teaching I have given my mask to a number of students with wide faces, hairy faces, big noses, high/protruding brow and even to a 16 yr old petite female who did not want to give it back.

But don’t worry if pink is not your thing, there is a HUGE variety of colours available with both clear and black skirting. They state that it is the strongest and most indestructible two-window mask ever which is great news for me although I do not intend to drop THIS ONE!

This mask is in the higher price ranged masks on the shelf but as soon as you put it on your face you can feel the quality and I can honestly say, as a person who is a value buyer, I feel it is worth every penny!

I have the mask and the fins so what’s next?

The snorkel of course!
