Unfortunately we lost a fair amount of diving last weekend as the weather gods decided it was time we had some strong winds and pretty rough seas, not to worry, some brave souls still decided to get into the water and look for some small critters. Have to give kudos to the Nudibranch festival divers who braved the conditions at all hours of the day….. and night.

Congratulations to Teresa, Alexandria and Lindsay who are the latest addition to our qualified Open Water divers, and good luck to Aslak, Kate and Simon who will undertake the Advanced Open Water Course with Jess on December 17 and 18.

Diveaway has been out of the water for some repair work but we do hope to see her back in the water by Friday as we have a double adventure dive on Saturday which is being led by Jim, if you would like to unleash the explorer in you give the shop a call as we have 1 seat remaining.

Upcoming events later in the month include a double dive on HMAS Adelaide booked for December 21 which will be led by Jess; a drift dive followed by Fly point on December 23 and then the instructors and staff will get a well deserved break on the 25th. We are also having a social gathering at the shop on Thursday 18 Dec at 5:30 before moving off to support the local businesses of Mavericks and Vues, feel free to come and say hello to the new additions to our team; Stuart, Tom and Erica.

If your heading out for a dive with us this summer or just in the area for a visit why not plan to stay after the dive and make it a social visit as well? We have our very conveniently located dive lodge in Salamander Bay that is only $35 per person for all of our club members!
To book into the lodge follow the link to our website here
Hope to see you all soon for some diving

Happy Bubbles!
